I purchased a laptop that I ended up returning because I just didn't like the build quality. I decided to return it through UPS because my work and life schedule doesn't give me the chance to go to a store. I threw out my shipping label when I cleaned out my room.
Fast forward to the day that I had to ship my return out ->
I got to my order to reprint my label, but there was no button to print it out. I start panicking so I try to open a chat with support to get them to email me a label. I tried over 3 times on 2 different computers to talk to someone. Each time i would get an error message saying that I have been disconnected. My internet was not down the whole time.
Then the next day I give them a call and the lady very easily sent me an email with the shipping label. She understood the situation and I was relieved to receive the help. I shipped it out this same day to get it out asap and go about my day.
Fast forward over a month, I get home from work to take a break and find a large best buy package. I didn't order anything so I was confused only to find out it was the laptop I returned. I received no notification and was getting frustrated waiting for my refund to arrive. I called the support line only to be told that the warehouse rejected my return because it was past the return window.
I am infuriated about the situtation and just want my refund. I was assured that it was okay to ship it the day after because I had a problem with the website. I needed a laptop for work and school so I had to take a hit and buy a different one. I have an extra laptop and I'm out over $1k. All this because Best Buy rejected my return that was shipped a day late and I couldn't print a label from the website.

Calling the other phone and contacting support over these messages is pointless. Think twice before buying from Best Buy. I'm now learning how bad the customer service is from best buy. Look up their ratings because it's atrocious.
Every person I talk to is telling me to take it to the store and there is no guarantee that they will take the return. It is the stores dirscretion to give me a refund. I asked the lady over the phone what happens if they don't accept the return and said there is nothing Best Buy can do. I asked if Best Buy as a corporation has any control what happens inside of their stores and I was told no. Their excuse was "you knew what day your return was do and that is why the warehouse rejected your return."
Yes, I know my return was due on January 16th.
No. I didn't know the button to print a shipping label was disabled on that day.
