Refund Fiasco

I returned an item to Best Buy on Feb 06 2021. The item was received by Bestbuy on the 11th February. The following day I received an email coming from Bestbuy saying that they received my item and issued a $100 E-gift card. The following day, I check the BB website and saw a receipt the refund was issued, but when I check my email address was missing a letter for some reason, that's why I didn't get it. was sent to a wrong email address.

I complained the following day by phone and I was promised that I would be contacted by email by BB support and will correct the issue with the wrong email address. and will also receive a confirmation email in 24 hours.
48 hours later no confirmation email, so I again talk to somebody (through chat) complaining that I did not receive a confirmation email. So that person that I chatted with said that she corrected the error on my email address and I will again receive a confirmation email from support within 48 hr.

5 days later, I again complained through chat about not getting my $100 e-gift card refund, a confirmation email, and again had to explain my situation. Again, nothing.

2 days later, I went to Bestbuy Mira Mesa, Ca. and complained about it, was given a case ID, and to wait because it takes 15 days to process this kind of issue.

15 days later I called customer service, determined to solve this issue once and for all. In a span of an hour and twenty minutes, I was transferred 6 times, had to explain the same thing over and over, one department after another, And it only ended when the last person that was supposed to transfer me to the next department sent me to a dreadful humming tone. I then proceeded to smash my $100 Ember coffee cup, hot coffee all over my arm, and ask god why I'm being forsaken because of 1 letter missing on my email address (thanks you moron, whoever you are!).

Today is March 12, and the problem started on February 12, all hope is lost, and awaiting a savior who will rescue me from this hell called Refund Fiasco.

Returning an item should be simple and I'm disheartened to hear about the issues that arose with the refund method for your return.
