I am reaching out for support regarding a refund that is supposed to come to me via check because I paid cash for an item in store, but had to return it. I understand the policy. It states that any cash orders over 800 must be mailed via check within ten business days. I have paitently waited the ten days and to date there is no sign of the refund.
I have called and spoken to several representatives. Each of them tells me something different. Most recently, today I was told that the refund takes 30 days (a billing cycle) to get to me. According the the website and the in store manager, I was to recieve the refun check "within" 10 business days.
At this point, I have done my part, and I am asking for support from Best Buy. I don't need to hear the policy quoted again. Nor do I need a promise of a return call that never comes. I would appreciate if I could please have my money (check). It is not fair to customers to endure this type of back and forth.
With a few exceptions, we will reimburse you for returned items in the same way you paid for them. If you prefer, you can make an exchange for the same item.
For returns by mail, once we receive your return, we will process it within 15–20 business days. Depending on your bank's processing time, it may take up to 7 days after we process the return to reflect on your account.
If you paid more than $800 in cash or more than $250 by check or by a debit card without a major credit card logo, we will refund you by check within 10 business days. Any amounts deducted from a gift card will be credited to the gift card. If you no longer have the gift card used for an order, please call us at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) with your order number handy, and we'll be happy to send you a replacement.

Thank you for this information, but as I stated in the original email, I understand and know this policy. I want to know the status of my refund because it had been 10 business day. What is my recourse at this time?
