Received 2 iPhones instead of 1

I’m fed up with Best Buy! I don’t know why I even wasted my energy this week. Here’s what happened. About 3 weeks ago I ordered an iPhone, decided that the particular version of the phone is not what I wanted so I cancelled the order the very next day. Email confirmation says it was successfully cancelled. Well it was sent to me anyway. I saw online that you should try to take it to your local Best Buy store and explain what happened. I did. The girl that I talked to in the store was like “Why are you bringing it here? Are you trying to get a refund?” I’m like no, I didn’t pay for this item. It was sent to me in error. I’m just trying to be honest and return it because I’m not trying to go to jail. She says ok well let me go get a manager and see what we can do. I then explain this scenario to manager and he says “ you’ll have to take this to store xxxx, which is 1 hour from me. Alright so I drive to store xxxxx, manager there says “I don’t know why they told you that, but we can’t accept that here if you didn’t buy it here” .... not only have I tried to be honest. I also wasted my gas and 1/2 day at work because the store folks have instructed me to do something incorrect. At this point I’m ready to Oprah the hell out of this iPhone

I need to clarify that I purchased the iPhone 11 but canceled the XR. Both showed up within days of each other. I’ve been getting the run around from store associates and managers. At this point, I just need to know what to do. I’m leaving out of the country in a few days so if I don’t hear a response. It’ll have to wait until I get back.

Another day trying to get through to Best Buy so I can send this back. I’m losing patience with this issue. I am a travel nurse working on a covid unit in a hotspot and I don’t have the time to be running around trying to figure out how to give them back their property. I leave on Wednesday to go to a new location so someone please answer. Store Associate/managers please offer some advice on what to do. Please!
