First, the off shore customer service is less than desirable/horrible. Numerous cold transfers, blatant hanging up, no supervision/oversight for customer service quality...very disappointing.
I bought many things, including a 75" TV that offered a $500 promotional BB digital/e-gift card. Never received the digital e-gift card email confirmation after numerous times of trying to resend to email. Called off shore customer service numerous times, with all the same outcomes. They claim it's on my end, Spam folder, Promotions folder, etc. No recourse. So I open a new email account, different provider, no barriers. Call customer service again to update email address and resend e-gift card confirmation...they said it was resent, I tried myself to resend from my order and no email. Two different email carriers, no email confirmation. Still my end?
Unfortunately there is no recourse, so at this point Best Buy gets away with promoting a $500 gift card with purchase of product, with out delivering the gift card and no recourse. Customer Service states they can't send to text, can't send a physical card, etc. Any other thoughts on how to resolve or even having a technical digital expert on the Best Buy side confirm there isn't some program issue on their end?
