Has Best Buy customer information been breached? I am receiving a least one email phishing scam a day. And today I received a phone call phishing scam. Strange someone has both my email and phone number and knows I am a best buy customer. If I learn there has been a breach and your customers were not informed I will close my account immediately. And also what are all these junk emails I am receiving with this info <email@example.com>. I'm getting a half dozen a day. Everything from weight loss to sex toys. You really need to put some effort into stopping whoever is doing this. Your brand is taking a hit and you really need to look into this. I called and offered to forward the first email phishing scam to you, but your customer service wasn't interested. Apple has an email where you can forward scams. They care about their brand apparently. Your name is taking a serious hit. Not at all happy.

As someone who is also not a fan of receiving spam emails or calls, I can understand why this would leave you feeling concerned. That said, we take great care in keeping our customer information protected, so I'm unsure as to how your email and phone number were accessed, but it was not from us.
The email address you shared is not one associated with Best Buy, so we recommend forwarding the spam email to firstname.lastname@example.org for further review, as well as not opening those emails going forward.
