I want to purchase an open box Apple Macbook Air...what is Best Buy's warranty policy on Open Box items...does being Geek Squad Certified make a difference?  There is LOTS of contradictory info in the forums...you official policy should be published...

Thanks for joining us here on the community forums. All open box items sold at Best Buy will still have their manufacturers warranty active. Geek Squad Certified items guarantee that it has been inspected thoroughly and contain all the accessories and original packaging. You can still purchase AppleCare on these open box items as well.
