Re: Minnetonka MN store manager Dan called me a woman for no reason

“Yessum” is by no means common parlance here in Minnesota. If you are throwing it around, you know what it means. Even if you don’t know what it means most people could easily infer its meaning. This guy runs a store in a customer facing positing and I imagine is highly socialized mid/late 30’s. He was just expressing how upset he was about how the in store pickup system works. So when I asked for the bag, this guy is upset at having to run around the warehouse and find my item, thought he could just slip in a clever little insult not thinking I would catch it. It was like a rebuke at my asking for a bag almost.

Re: Minnetonka MN store manager Dan called me a woman for no reason

I've more or less documented what happened in the previous postings. Like i said he quipped at me with a "yessum" for asking for a bag. When i called him out on it he didn't apologize, he thanked me for telling him what it meant, which I am certain he already knew. As i said he didn't seem apologetic in the least, more upset that i caught it. I told him it was f-ing ridiculous, I asked for his name, and he introduced himself as Dan the store manager. He tried changing the subject. I kept pushing him on it esclating with him, and walked out of the store swearing at the guy without anything resembling an apology. Again if it was a mistake why not apologize? This guy insulted me for no reason. When pressed he played dumb. Just really bizarre behavior coming from someone in customer service, none the less a store manager. I'm sure you can see my purchase history, I spend a lot of money at best buy, and I will not be back. This wasnt just a slip of the tongue or mistake. This guy was upset he had to run all over the store trying to find my order and he had a pretty weird way of showing it.
