It is extremely ridiculous they tell us 3-6 weeks but what they fail to mention is the additional 3-6 weeks it is taking them to process. So refunts could be 12+ weeks!! They should be straight up in telling us the processing time and the additional time. The customer service reps are useless and give false information. I have spoke to multiple reps and they have all given me differnt information. Lies.

Interesting, as the last time I tried to PM it said that I had already PMd more than I could with 1 PM! This forum is about as useless as the customer service I have recieved on this recall. I was also chastised for spamming when I replied to 2 people with the SAME ISSUE. Steal my air fryer and my money ... I'm over it at this point.

LOL - as stated in my OP - they have not been helpful, which is why I turned to the forum in the first place. Best Buy has failed their customers in this situation by not being fully up front and telling us that it could be 12+ weeks before we see a "refund" ... if ever.

When you called that number they was not able to provide you with any update?
You will get your refund back. It's never our intention for customers to feel that we are trying to steal money from them. This recall must be processed through the manufacture which is insignia. I thought the same thing but I just found an email buried in my mailbox with an e gift card. I searched my email with the words insignia. I had actually already deleted it but luckily hadn't cleared my trash yet. It may be sitting in there already. I am not sure why the people you talk to don't know that.

No, customer service could NOT give me status and in fact, gave me 2 different stories. The original status was that it had already been processed and after not hearing back as I was supposed to, called again then the status they did give me was that it would be 6-8 weeks AFTER they decided to "process the return" and not that it was 6-8 weeks after receiving the airfryer back. It would have been great to know that UPFRONT

With Bestbuy taking an unacceptable amount of time for the refunds / electronic gift card, , we are forced to buy a replacement air fryer somewhere else, and bestbut doesn't get the sale,,, is it starting to click yet???
