You would need to work with citibank. Bestbuy doesn't have access to your account directly.

I have contacted Citibank multiple times and they have no recollection of this account and told me to contact Best Buy about it. This account was closed in 2014 but still shows on my report

Many states have statue of limitations where legally you can request this off your credit report or it's supposed to fall off after X amount of years. I think maybe you may be able to file a dispute with the credit reporting agencies direct rather than goto Citi Bank. The creditors are legally oblgated to respond to the dispute in a timely manner and remove it from your report.
