Many states have statue of limitations where legally you can request this off your credit report or it's supposed to fall off after X amount of years. I think maybe you may be able to file a dispute with the credit reporting agencies direct rather than goto Citi Bank. The creditors are legally oblgated to respond to the dispute in a timely manner and remove it from your report.
