This happened to me as well except for $1500. Best Buy has rejected my claim and is trying to force me to pay for a product I did not receive.

In my case they used my Best Buy card and Best Buy is rejecting it.

Best Buy or Citibank? Since you are talking about a credit card, fraudulent purchases would fall under your card’s fraud protections not the store itself. If you have not already done so, you’ll want to report to Citibank, who runs the Best Buy Credit Card in regards to the purchases you deem fraud.

I had not realized until today that Citibank is involved. As Citibank is usually very good with fraud I will call them tomorrow.

The number 1-888-574-1301 on the back of the credit card is Citibank Retail Services, you can reach out that way.

Thanks for posting about the purchases made on your My Best Buy Credit Card. I've had someone use my bank card without my permission before, so I totally understand how the process can be frustrating.
