Just like to expound on being treated in a negative manner by guy name victor at your Conyers, GA store on yesterday. I went to Best Buy to buy a 62xl ink cartridge. I arrived around 8:00PM, not knowing that what time the store closes. So, I followed this Caucasian lady into the store. I must admit I was not sure how she got in because the door was close but not locked. So, I open the door and went to scan the store for ink cartridge area. This is when some guy who I later found out his name was Victor. But did not have a badge identifying him as the manager. He asked me how I got in. I responded that I just needed a ink cartridge. He then states that we are closed. I state that there was other customer in the store. I proceeded to enter and that when Victor told me I was going the wrong way for the ink cartridges, that they were to the right. So, I proceeded to go over and get the 62xl cartridge. Did not take minute. Came back to the checkout, placed my item on the counter, when I was stopped by another person who I thought was an employee because they had on blue shirt like all Best Buy employees. They salesperson took about 10 minutes ringing up this customer. Then refused to ring up my item per Victor. When I stated to Victor because of the way I was dressed and the color of my skin (I was dressed in faded shirt dusty pants because I was changing out a household air filter. The kind that installed under neath the house.) was the reason way he was refusing to allow me to purchase the ink cartridge. He stated that the reason was that I was trespassing and threaten to call the police. I standing there debating with Victor with his associates staring at me like I was some sort of criminal. Victor then stated that they were standing there waiting on him to give them orders of some sort. But he continued to engage me in debate regarding my entry into the store. I stated to the onlookers that I was not going to put on a scene for their enjoyment and left. I can only surmise that I was not able to purchase this ink cartridge because of the way I was dress and the color of my skin. If I was a white male and was dressed shabbily not to mention had on shirt and tie, I would have been able to purchase that ink cartridge.
