I bought a product, received it on Nov 19th and returned it the same day, a few hours later, to a store. The employee opened the box and verified everything was there. Now it appears I have to wait possibly 3 1/2 weeks with the holiday? Are you going to give me interest on the gift card balance for sitting on MY money that long for a defective product?
Every other store, even Walmart, who is not known for good customer service, gives a refund immediately. This is the first time I've had to return a product to Best Buy. Unless your return policies are changed, I'll have to start shopping at Amazon or Walmart instead.
You're not within the standard for other retailers, except Fry's, who I won't buy from either, and clearly distrust your customers. Why don't you keep records and refuse returns from the few that are problems instead of making the majority suffer?

Good afternoon, JoeSlayden,
Welcome to our community forums. I appreciate you taking the time to visit our community forums and letting us know about your experience with Return & Exchange Promise. I'd be glad to see how I may be able to help.
I'm a bit confused by your message. Typically, refunds to a credit card take up to one full billing cycle to show on your statement, but typically will reflect in the account sooner. Gift cards are usually refunded within 24 hours. Can you please clarify what is going on or how we can assist you. Any additional information would be much appreciated.
