I am having several problems as a new BB Cardmember and first-time customer.
I purchased an open-box Mirrorless Digital Camera and got a BB credit card for the offered 10% bonus.
The 10% bonus was not applied to my purchase or to my account. The 10% certificate code I was sent was not 'recognized' during the online purchase.
When I chatted online about it, the BB CSR 'could not apply the 10% retroactively' because the camera was 'already purchased'. I offered to return the camera and re-purchase it with the code to get the 10%, if he couldn't help me any other way. The CSR sent me a return label and return instructions.
I returned the camera, and re-purchased another one, I was charged almost $300 in restocking fees. In addition, I have still not seen the 10% discount or credit post to my BB account.
I feel the restocking fee should not have been charged to me, as it was a best buy glitch that forced me to return the camera.
Can a forum moderator help me with this? Or can you refer me to a Corporate complaint manager? I have lost about $450 on this transaction!~
