Problem with potential purchase

Good evening,

 

My wife and I were at your location in Cape Cod, MA. She was interested in buying an Apple Watch but wanted to try to demo on. We were told there is not model that she would be able to try to see how it felt. Explained I tried mine on at the Poughkeepsie NY location before I bought it. The response “really”?  We left and went to the AT&T store right next to it without any problem.

 

As an Elite Plus member I am disappointed and fustrated that Best Buy would want to lost a sale.

Generally speaking, the Apple Watch display models can’t be tried on due to how they are mounted. It’s possible that the store in New York had some open box models, or that the store has a different setup for display models, for some reason. I apologize for the different experiences you had in the two stores.


I do appreciate your feedback on this, however. We need customers like you to let us know when things we are doing don’t give them a great experience. 


I hope that you’ll continue to shop with us in the future. I’m confident we’ll provide you with superior service if you do.

Thank you for your reply and explanation. However that is like buying a car without a test drive.

If other retailers can make them available to try on I would suggest updating how you receive/display them.

I totally understand where you are coming from here. I’d for sure want to try that watch out before deciding to keep it. While I can’t promise that we’ll be able to adjust our procedures around these watches, I do want to emphasize that we appreciate your feedback around this.
