I purchased an iPhone XR after trading an iPhone 7 Plus for a gift card which I used to buy the new phone. Buy, not put on installments. The next morning I saw the same deal at the apple store for $109 cheaper. Best Buy has refused to price match this item and wanted to charge me an expensive restocking fee to return the phone. I have called the customer service number four times and went to the store two times to finally get this decision. Buyer beware of this price match guarantee. All I wanted was a gift card to buy accessories so the money would go right back to Best Buy. All involved have refused to resolve except one guy in the phone who said take it back to the store and they would take care of it. They didn’t so beware of this guarantee.

Hello, Challie.
Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing this experience. It is true that our Price Match Guarantee does not cover phones which can be activated. I sincerely apologize for this disappointment. Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!

I have gotten answers from I can to I can’t and go to the store and they will do it. Guess nobody knows for sure. I am done with Best Buy. Can’t shop with confidence and trust them. To much fine print

Alison-BBY is quoting direct from the Price-Match Guarantee, if anyone quoted you that phones can be matched they are mistaken.
