So I am wondering why will Best Buy only price match certain websites or stores and not others? I would like to get a computer price matched here : {removed per forum guidelines}

If this isn't possible, please explain why I shouldn't just buy it from this website?

Welcome back to the forum.  I've made several purchases at Best Buy where I've taken advantage of our Price Match Guarantee because I've found a lower price at a competitor.  A huge perk for me in doing this is still earning reward points with my membership in the My Best Buy™ program.  

At this time, Best Buy will match the prices of several online retailers and most local competitors who have been verified and approved to sell products directly from the manufacturer.  While we never want to lose a customer due to the fine print of a policy, we would be unable to accommodate your request at this time as the link you provided does not meet the criteria listed on our FAQ page.

I hope you'll re-visit us in the future for another purchase.  We'd love to see you!

Another issue I'm having is with all the bait and switch pricing your doing on your website. Your computers go on sale for 2 days then revert back to original price. How do you think this is good business or consumer friendly?

Regardless of how long our sales last, it’s always disappointing when the item you’ve had your eye on is no longer offered at a discounted price.  While I see my colleague, Sam, discussed this with you in a previous thread last month, I’ll be happy to expand on his initial reply.

As Sam has mentioned, most of our sales run from Sunday through Saturday of any given week, as you can see in our Weekly Ad.  With that said, it’s not uncommon for us to offer flash sales, or sales to celebrate a holiday, such as the President’s Day sale we ran this past weekend.  Like all good things, these sales do end, and we’ll be unable to offer you these prices once the sale has ended.

With that said, if you’re still interested in purchasing a computer, our current computer sales can be found by following this link.  Alternatively, you can check out our Hottest Deals page for a variety of items currently on sale.
