Price Match Not Being Honored

Yesterday around 00:00 GMT, I was having a conversation with a chat operator “James Charles” whom went through the long price match process with me. I do not think I was logged in but I provided my first name and email address. After ordering the product, I went to copy and paste the order number to be reimbursed. The with James Charles disconnected. Now I am being told the price match will not be honored. I only ordered the product because of the price match. Now I have a product that is $500+ than the agreed upon price. I would like a copy of the transcript and the price match to be honored. Please.

Update. In speaking with a customer service representative, I am been informed that there is no way to show me a copy of the transcript. I have also been told that the price match another employee quoted me, which caused me to order the product, does not matter because they are unaware of what that employee was matching. Which tells me that he made a mistake. And now it’s my fault for reacting based off the word of the employee.
So is the Best Buy policy to lie to the customer in order to get them to purchase?

Update: I was told that I would be price matched at the lowest price that can currently be found. $351 dollars higher than the quoted price which caused me to order the product. Still I have not been given the requested copy of the chat transcript. I don’t see the harm in go jog me a copy. It has already been made quite clear that the price match quote from a Best Buy employee doesn’t mean much. Also, it has been 24 hours now. And the price match that I was offered as the only, much higher, option still has not been processed. Do I have to follow up on this now?
