The BestBuy customer service hotline does not follow the Price Match Guarantee as outlined on the BestBuy website. They website states that BestBuy price-matches all local retailers, including their online prices. When I called and asked for a price match with a local retailer that has online prices, I was told that price matching only applies to a list of certain local retailers, which are actually smaller chains such as MicroCenter. If this is true, the website should be changed.

Did the sale price comply with all the other terms of the price match guarantee? If there were elements off from it, the price match would be denied. They have to be a regular sale and not something that's a limited quantity or bundle ETC.

As far as I can tell it's a regular sale, it's not advertised as in limited quantity, and it's not a bundle.
Regardless, the BestBuy website claims something very different from what's honored in practice. It says that price matching applies for all local retailers, but the customer service agent I spoke with said that it only applies for a (unposted) list of certain local retailers.
