I called Best Buy today to place an order for an item with a price match to my local Micro Center.
The representative informed me that the item was indeed eligible for price match, but that the price at Micro Center is apparently below the lowest minimum price allowed by the system.
This practice is contrary to the FAQ on Best Buy’s price match guarantee on BestBuy.com which states, “Yes. So long as the price match requested is on an identical immediately available product and all other price match criteria are met.”
How should Best Buy handle it’s price match policy in these situations? Why does such a minimum exist? I would appreciate some help and further insight on this.

I know I want to make sure I get the best deal possible and try to take advantage of this as much as possible.
