This page states "...and items for sale the Friday before Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving, whether offered by us or a competitor" are excluded from price matching. This implies that if the items aren't sale items during this period, they're still eligible for price matching.

However, this page states that price matching is simply not available during this time:

That FAQ is buried in a support topic and is not the "price match guarantee" page that's linked at the bottom of every single page.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on Best Buy Forums. I can certainly understand wanting clarity on our Price Match Guarantee.

Our Price Match Guarantee does not apply to products purchased the Friday before Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving. It also does not apply to any items denoted as Black Friday pricing.

To clarify, our Price Match Guarantee is not in effect during this time period, regardless of if the item is on sale or not. Once this period is over, our Price Match Guarantee resumes as normal.
