Price Adjustment/chat help line

I purchased a TV from Best Buy on 10/13/20 and it was delivered on 10/19.  Within a couple days Best Buy reduced the price by $200.  I was able to get a price adjustment.  A few days later, Best Buy reduced the price another $300.  I did an online chat and was told that I could get another price adjustment.  I waited and it never posted to my credit card.  Today, I did another online chat to discuss the status of my refund.  The first agent said that Best Buy processed the refund on 11/5 and it would post soon.  When I asked the amount of the refund, he indicated it would be  $127.00, when it should be $300 plus tax. I ended up "being hung up on" and a new agent got on the chat saying I was not eligible for another "price match".  After I questioned what I had been told, I was hung up on again and a third agent got on the chat.  Started over again and then asked to speak to  a manager.  Manager got on the chat and said I was not eligible for another price match.  I would think when Best Buy reduces prices within the return window, it would be a "price adjustment" not a "price match".  They are matching their own prices.  I could return the TV, then purchase again for $300 less and they'd be stuck with selling an open box item for even less.  If they had told me from the start I wasn't eligible for another price adjustment that would be one thing but ending up waiting for a refund, then another hour on a chat with staff who don't  know what they are talking about is very frustrating.  I should have bought it from Costco in the first place.

I love getting the best deal on a product as well, so I can understand wanting to take advantage of our Price Match Guarantee when it comes to your TV. While our policy does state that only one price match per identical item is allowed, I hate to hear you received the runaround on this and some miscommunication might have occurred.
