I just received an email which said  'your Premium Protection Plan of your computer has been renewed today.  Since your account is set to auto-renew, we will automatically process the charges of $610.99 for the auto-renewal of your Premium Protection Plan " etc.   phone number associated with cancellation is 888-996-0847.  This email is using the Geek Squad Tec Support emblem.  I called the store that I use and they said that this is a scam and to report it to you.

I did not talk to anyone at the 888 number.   I DO have a protection plan that auto renews but it is  $199.99. NOT  $610.99.
