Poor Price Matching Policy

I ordered a chromebook and then the next day it dropped another $10. I contaced Best Buy for a price adjustment and they won't give me one because the price has already gone back up (withing 12 hours). I have a screen shot showing the lower price and a time stamp! They say they have no way of looking at what the price was before the current price...yeah right! I bought a laptop a month ago and now this chromebook and I won't be buying from them ever again!!

That's straight from your policy. I tried to have it PM when I saw the lower price, I was #49 in line. As a busy Mom I don't have time for that. This morning I got on chat and I was ''helped'' immediately but since the price had changed again from the night before they refused to do anything and have lost my business. I'll be watching for another chromebook to buy elsewhere and hopefully I'll be returning this one!

How do I request a price match from a Best Buy or Pacific Sales retail store?

When making a purchase, or during the return and exchange period, please talk to a Customer Specialist or go to the Customer Service desk for help with your price match request. Please tell us about the lower price that is still in effect that you want our retail store to price match. We will then review and verify the price match request. A price match request after a purchase at a store for items shipped to the customer can only be requested by the purchaser (the person who was listed in the "Bill To" section of the order).

 

This has always been a condition of our Price Match Guarantee, the price you want us to match must be active at the time of the request and not already expired.  Just like sale prices themselves, these do expire and the window in which we can match does close when that happens.
