This might not be a big deal to some but here goes. I just purchased a Sirius XM for my car. I also purchased the plan. The radio came is sitting in the bag it was shipped it and wont be installed for 2 weeks but the plan has already started.
I called the Geek Squad and had to explain three times what question was and the last person was rude and hung up on me. No one could explain why the plan started the day of purchase instead of when the radio got installed.
The plan starts when the item it covers is received.... Kind of like if you bought a laptop and didn't turn it on for two weeks, it still starts when you received the laptop, not when you first turn it on.
