Pickup delay

I just bought a MacBook Pro 13" with touchbar at a store for in-store pickup in a nearby town that was said to have it in stock. However, it changed to not being in stock, so I changed the in-store pickup to my town's location to save the drive, since the arrival date from the nearby town's store changed to the same date as the store I had in my town, which was by September 5. The day rolls around, and I get a notification for a pickup delay. I decide to go in my local store and ask, and they tell me that me changing stores sometimes creates some issues, alongside the fact that I used Paypal as my means of payment for the laptop, and that the issue consists of verifying that the buyer was me. It's been a few days and I haven't gotten any sort of contact for personal verification. My bank has been charged and I have my order number for the laptop. Do I still wait, or will changing the store pickup back to the original store fix the issue?(The store in the nearb town says it has the laptop back in stock for in-store pickup)

I changed the store pickup back to the orignal location and it was available for pickup later that day

I hate to hear about the issues that you were having with your online order that you had made for your MacBook. I would be wanting to get mine as soon as possible too! I'm glad, though, that you were able to finally get the order to push through. Sometimes orders for these types of products require more verification and can take longer to fully process than others.
