I just purchased a Panasonic S5 camera a week ago and I really like it but the cheap plastic SD card slot door has developed a really bad door creak that gets picked up in videos even with an external mic I bought trying to try to fix this issue. What's worse is the door is part of the grip so that is where you have to hold the camera.
My question is if I return it or exchange it for a different model, would I still be charged the 15% restocking fee, or would this be considered a defect?

Welcome to the Best Buy Community Forums!
I appreciate you taking the time to join, and reach out to us regarding your camera purchase. Having a Geek Squad Protection Plan is meant to make these types of situations simple. Generally, as long as the item is within our Return & Exchange Promise found here, you can bring it to your nearest Best Buy store and exchange it. Being that it's defective, there may not be a restocking fee, but the store is in the best position to provide you the full details.
I am happy to check on your specific purchase for you if you'd like. Just send me a private message with the Customer Service PIN off your receipt, your full name, phone number, and e-male address.
