I placed an order online on Jan 8th for a Belkin dock, which was scheduled for delivery on Jan 17th. On Jan 17th, the order still hadn't shipped and it updates to say that it is delayed. It says that it will arrive by Jan 31st, and states that if it doesn't I will be issued a refund. Annoying but completely understandable with chip shortages and everything else going on.
Jan 31st comes and goes, and I get no refund or update on the order. I have contacted customer service at least 3 or 4 times now requesting a refund. Each time they state that I will receive an email from a "back office department" within 48 hours regarding my case or I get some other reason it can't be processed. One time the customer service rep just ended the chat in the middle of the conversation. I have never received an email after any of these conversations other than when I request a transcript of the conversation. Even then, I only got one of three requested transcripts. Probably just a glitchy system, but still...
I unfortunately bought this with a gift card, so I can't dispute it wtih with my bank. Trying not to get too frustrated, but seriously what the heck is going on here? Most online retailers offer a refund a few days after the expected delivery date if not received. Its 3 weeks past delivery date, and 1 week past the promised refund date! If Best Buy has an issue with supply chains, understandable but they can't push that off to the customer. Looking for some help please!
