I notice a recurring theme... I tried to buy an LG 55SK9000 which is listed for $799 on several sites including amazon.com. BBY has it for $869.99, but they wont match. First they claimed it was because it is a prime item (which we know from other posts is not correct information). Then they said it was third party on every website that listed $799 in the google search.
I can buy it on amazon for $799 with free shipping, I will have it tomorrow, and the protection is very cheap. Main reason I was going to buy it from BBY is because I discovered the TV in their store.
I am a BBY fan, and at one time a stock holder, so BBY please listen closely and read what all of your customers are saying... Amazon is putting you out of business!!! You sell commodities, u need to price match what people can actually buy it for (I guess thats why I own AMZN and not BBY these days)

Hello, TomHorwedel, and welcome to our online community!
Thanks for reaching out to us on our forum. I love getting the best deal on a product as well, so I can understand wanting to take advantage of our Price Match Guarantee when it comes to this LG TV. According to our policy, the product must be a matching brand, model number, color, and must follow our special considerations as well.
I'm happy to hear you're a Best Buy fan, and we'd like to keep it that way. If you'd like me to review this product again to see if there's any way we can price match it, please send me a private message including your full name, email, phone number, and the link to the TV on www.bestbuy.com and on Amazon's site.
