Hey I need some help with a refund, I've literally tried contacting every other facet of the Best Buy brand and every time I'm being put on hold for upwards of an hour and no response, I have 400 dollars that is just unaccounted for by not only my bank but also apparently Best Buy.
I tried to buy an Oculus Rift S but it said that it wouldn't be here on time and I decided to cancel it, then I checked my local Best Buy and they already had 3 in stock even though they said mine wasn't even there, so I decided to use the 400 dollars to go in store, but when I checked my bank the money wasn't refunded.
One issue is that I had to cancel the card I used to buy it the day AFTER I refunded my "pickup in store" purchase. That was yesterday, and I did the refund two days ago, did I not give it enough time to refund or is my money just gone?

businesses cannot refund money to a credit card that has been canceled.
And it normally would take up to 3 business days to process the refund.
Personally I would suggest a Best Buy Credit card
Just so your aware. Items do not ship to you from your local store. There is a part of the web site that will tell you if an item is in stock in your local store or where the nearest one may be.
But your items ship to you from a distribution center, not your local store.

have you called the holder of the card?
If there were issues with your card that caused you to cancel it they may have blocked the transaction from happening.
Don't trust what you see online you should call the number on the back of your card.

Good afternoon, Jaemsi,
Welcome to our forums, and thank you for connecting with us for assistance. I’m sorry to hear there seems to be an issue with the funds linked to your order after it’s been cancelled, but I’m hopeful we’ll be able to clarify how these are typically handled once your order is cancelled.
As mentioned in our Cancel Your Order Help Center article, once your order is placed online, we’ll submit an authorization to your bank or credit card company to ensure the funds are available. Once the order is cancelled, that authorization request is removed on our end, and the time it takes your financial institution to remove that authorization can vary. Additionally, your account will not actually be billed until your order is shipped, delivered, or picked up at the store.
If your card has been cancelled and you’re still seeing a pending authorization on your account, I recommend connecting with your bank or credit card company to look into the authorization further, and request additional information as to when these funds will make their way back to your account.
I hope this helps, but if you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
