The promo says "iPad Air Latest model from $349.99 when you trade in any working iPad.", but I don't see that when trading in a device. Does this mean any iPad would get ta trade in value of $150? I am trying to trade in a iPad mini 3, but only getting $90. Thank you

The new iPad Airs look very exciting.
However, just to clarify for you the add says From $349.99
Meaning you won't get more than $150 for a trade in and trade in's are based on the existing trade in.
My iPad is only eligible for a $25 trade in.

Thanks, but I'm not trying to get more than $150. I see that my iPad mini 3 is worth $90, so my question is will I get a coupon for $60 towards the new iPad Air? This would be like previous trade in promotions.
Hope to hear something ffrom Best Buy on this.

The ad lists a up to $150. It will not give you $150 unless your device qualifies.
That is pretty much going to be regulated to new with in the last year or so and with lots of memory.

You start here.
It will tell you the value of the iPad that you have. If you have more than one iPad you will need to run through it one time for each iPad.
Any working iPad I believe means just that. If you click the link you can filter down to the iPad you have and it has everythig from 1st to 5th generation.
If your iPad isn't to old a good option may be to try and sell it for more than the trade in allows.
Mine is only good for $25. Which actualy surprised me it was that much. It is 9 years old. the hard part with it is that it cannot accept an iOS update past a certain point. That kind of keeps the trade in value of iPads down. Something 3 years old may not be able to accomidate a new app.

Welcome back to the forums. I’m getting the itch to upgrade my iPad as well, and I’ll be trading my current one in if I decide to go through with it.
Big thanks to bobberuchi for jumping in here. He’s spot on. The “from” in that promotion indicates a possible price, and not a guaranteed price. You can receive up to that amount on a gift card when trading in.
I should point out, however, that most trade-in promotions are valid only in our stores. If an extra coupon would be added, it would only be available if you brought the iPad into your local Best Buy for trade-in. You can find the current in-store Trade-In promotions here. Here’ it doesn’t matter because there is no additional coupon, but I thought I’d let you know going forward.
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks for the clarification KyleR. That is really horrible and misleading wording on the promotion. "From" can also be a starting price for the 64GB and the price would go up for the 256GB model. This really shouldn't be categorized as a "special offer" since there is nothing special about it and can be done any day. lol
Thanks Bobberuchi. I just didn't think Best Buy would misleasd like this. Good thing I didn't go into the store for this.

Hi again, Jehwoneee,
I’m glad I was able to clarify that, even if it wasn’t the answer you were hoping for. I assure you our intent wasn’t to mislead about the offer, and I apologize that it wasn’t clear.
