Need some help about my chargeback mistakes

Hello.

I have brought something from the best buy last year and I did some wrong chargebacks and let the money back to my debit card. Finially I found that these chargeback are wrong, so I asked my bank to withdraw the wrong chargeback and return the money to best buy. My bank told me that it needs 30-45 days to return the money to best buy. But there is other problem already confusing me. My bank told me that there will be an investigation fee taken from merchant if the card holder filed a chargeback. I have made several wrong chargebacks from my bank, although all the money has already gone back to Best Buy, I still concern about the fee which Best Buy need to pay, these fee is the result of my mistakes. Please someone help me to deal with this problem, I have contacted one manager from best buy 4 months ago this year.

As of now, we haven't received any investigation fee, and if we are to, we will be sure to take care of it. As long as you've handled everything on your end with the bank and the chargebacks, we should be good to rock-n-roll!

Hi,

Do I have legal consequences because I have filed wrong chargebacks against best buy? I feel very guilty because I got the items and also keep the money. Although I have withdrawn these wrong chargebacks, do I make any costs or damages to best buy?

If you've corrected the error with your bank, there shouldn't be any issues moving forward. If there does happen to be anything that we need to discuss with you, our appropriate departments will formally do so. Until then, you should be fine to continue shopping with us and enjoying the items that you had ordered.
