NEED HELP ASAP - Refund Check issues

So I went to BP this afternoon and tried to buy snacks for break. My card kept declining, so I checked my bank account and I’m -$1356.97! So I checked my app some more and it said “Returned Item from previous deposit” and it was the same amount I got from my refund check at Best Buy $1,397.81. I then called my bank to see what happened and they didn’t really know either, so they dug in some more and they told me that Best Buy reversed the check deposit and said that it could’ve been a bad check and that they should send me a new one with a reason why they did so. I was panicking and I didn’t know what to do. I have no money for the week, I’m gonna get over drafted for who knows how many days and I need help.

You may want to message Fey-BBY who replied to your original post. They sometimes take a few days to reply to new posts and this seems like an emergency.

I wish your return visit were under happier circumstances. There was a time in my life when I lived very much from paycheck to paycheck and had to monitor my bank accounts very closely. One miscalculation could start a cascade of terrible things, which happened more than once I'm sad to say. I even had to deal with situations not unlike yours where deposits were made, undone, and made again. It was unsettling to say the least. That's a long way of expressing my heartfelt regret that you're having to cope with such circumstances now.
