I just noticed a fee for 53.31 on my credit card with the following description: GEEKSQUAD RENE00015826 RICHFIELD MN
What teh heck is this fee? I ahve not made a purchase at Best Buy since Christmas and to my knowledge there should be no recurring fees as I do not use your service or any other.
Please advise ASAP as this money should be credited back to me if not i will report the transaction as fraudulent to my card company.

If the card is linked to your rewards account, the easiest way is to log in on Best Buy.com and look at your purchases tab. Renewals do show up in that list along with all other purchases. If it is not linked to your your account, or it's more convenient, you can always stop by any Best Buy location and they can swipe the card and see it displayed there. Of course, whenever the social media team gets to your post they can look into it as well. With the light staffing last week there is a bit of a lead time, but they'll get to you soon.

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Having an unexpected charge show up is always scary. I’d be happy to take a look into this to see if I can clear this up at all for you.
It sounds to me like jdogg836 is right on with this. It looks like an antivirus subscription renewal to me. If you could please send me a private message, by using the link in my signature below this post, with your name, email address, and phone number, I can check into it.
Hopefully with that, I’ll be able to find the renewal in our systems and let you know what it was for.
