Lost/stolen store credit

Hi, my store credit was lost/stolen between my last purchase at the store on oct 7 and my card was gone. What can I do? I still have $200 on it or more

Do you have the card number or the last transaction you did ? If Best Buy can find the information they can put a stop to it and issue you a new one. Store credit gift cards are generally treated the same as Gift Cards and can be replacable up to the balance that was last found on the card at the time of reporting it lost.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this. I hate it when I lose a gift card, so I’ll be happy to help you out as best I can.

 

Store credits work in much the same way gift cards do. As noted here, we can generally replace the remaining value on a lost gift card. Usually what you’ll want to do is give us a call at (888) 716-7994. The folks on that line can offer in the moment assistance.

 

If you’d prefer, you can also reach out to me through a private message by using the link in my signature. Please include your name, email address, phone number, and the customer service PIN from the receipt where you got the card, if you have it. If not, I can try to look it up with the PIN from your most recent use of the card instead.

I called bestbuy customer service and I gave her the card number. She said she will issue me a new one and that i will get a email about my call and the status of the card being sent to me but i never got it.
