Lost in-store credit card

I received in-store credit for a return of a product. I know I used the store credit card several times, but I don't think I used it all. I cannot find the card. I have the receipt I was given when the card was issued. How do I locate the full card number and balance? The receipt shows only the last 4 digits of the card. Thanks.

Welcome to our forums!  I’ve lost a few gift cards and store credit throughout my life, and it can often be a struggle to get a replacement.  Lucky for you, you’ve come to the right place for help, and I’ll be happy to see what we can do to get you the remaining balance of your gift card back to you.


As outlined in our Best Buy Gift Card Terms and Conditions, we’ll be able to replace your card with valid proof of purchase to the extent of the remaining card balance.  For me to find the remaining balance, and verify the proof of purchase, I’ll ask that you send me a private message with the following information:


  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • The “Customer Service PIN” from the bottom of your receipt


As you can imagine, we’ll want to keep this sensitive information out of the public view of our forums, so be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature.
