Long Wait at Best Buy Customer Service

To Whom it May Concern:

 

Last night, I visited the Best Buy in Tustin, CA hoping to trade in my old iPod for a Best Buy gift card.  What should have been a simple transaction took 40 minutes.  (I have done trade-ins in the past and have been in and out in 15 minutes.)  I arrived at 6:50 P.M. and immediately proceeded to the customer service area.  The first rep at the counter was unable to assist me as she had not done trade-ins before and told me to wait for the other rep at the counter.  No issue there.  However, I was kept waiting an extraordinary amount of time because the other rep had a difficult situation with the customer she was assisting.  Then when I was finally assisted there were issues with two different computers.  Throughout this time, I was barely acknowledged. 

 

I'm just bringing this to your attention as this is not the experience I have come to expect from Best Buy.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to an improved customer service experience during my next visit.
