By "scammed out of $2000" do you mean that you created an order for gift cards and never received them, or you gave the gift card details to a scammer?
If you never received the gift cards, the moderators may be able to assist in your situation. Hang tight and they'll be with you within a few days.
If you gave your gift card details over to a scammer who then emptied them, Best Buy will assist law enforcement if they reach out for assistance. This should be the correct course of action, contacting your local law enforcement with all of the details including names, phone numbers, etc. of the scammers to aid in their investigation. Gift Cards are treated as cash, and should not be provided to anyone. This is covered in most retailers terms and conditions, including Best Buy's.

No, but law enforcement said Best Buy should have taken care of this major mishap. This needs to be taken up with our congressional representatives. If you would like, we can bring attention to it.
