Laptop Return

Bought a new laptop, I realized it's not a good fit for me and the battery isn't what i thought it was. Can I return it? Bought it last week.

Re: Laptop Return

I also threw away the box thinking I was going to keep the laptop. Can I still return it no problem?

Re: Laptop Return

As long as you're within 15 days and there's nothing physically damaged on the laptop - you can return/exchange it. You just need any included accessories (like the charger, if it comes with a stylus, etc). The boxes are not necessary for returns.

Re: Laptop Return

Hello oherrera33,

Welcome to our community. It hasn't happened often, but once in a while I purchase a product that just is not what I needed it to be. That's when I depend upon the return policies of the retailers I frequent to take care of me.

Best Buy's Return & Exchange Promise allows for the return or exchange of most products within 15 days of purchase (30 days for My Best Buy Elite members and 45 days for Elite Plus members).

geishafish has said all that needs to be said, actually. You should be able to make your return without the box as long as you bring along everything that was in it and your receipt.

Thank you for writing to us.
