Yea i was 2 1/2 months past my date from when i sent it back ! The main number is a waste to talk to i did 2 bbb complaints and finally got my gift card . When i made the complaint i provided a picture of my tracking number for the air fryer so they see when it was sent back

Called Bestbuy about the airfryer that I returned in May. The representative said they hadn’t received it. I used the Return label that they had given me and yet she had the audacity to claim that it was my fault that the shipment hadn’t arrived!!! Guess what!! I then told her that I was recording the conversation of which I would share on every social media platform. That rep did a quick 180 degree switch and somehow my package info mysteriously appeared on her screen; and said that it looked like UPS would be delivering my airfryer to their offices in 2 days… HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE AFTER I SHIPPED IT 4 months ago????
I then contacted Better Business Bureau and documented the conversation; and my intentions on going on Facebook, TIKTOK, Twitter.. the works!! Less than 2 hours later, 3 calls came through to my phone from BestBuy Corporate office.
I would recommend that everyone go to Better business bureau and type an ANGRY complaint…. Very Angry Complaint.

I did the same thing and it is the only thing that has moved the needle. They say I’ll get my card by 9/21. It could just be a ploy because they had to respond to the BBB complaint. We shall see. But I won’t stop until I get it. Good luck all.

After submitting picture’s (tracking label, model # label on air fryer, air fryer in the box, the email stating i bought an air fryer on the recall list) and information on my situation to the BBB i received this text from the same number i get Best Buy order updates from:
“Hello Michael, my name is Scott with Best Buy's Executive Resolution team reaching out regarding the recent Better Business Bureau submission we received from you about your recalled air fryer you shipped back, but have not received the gift card yet. I am reaching out to our business team to investigate this and get you the gift card as soon as possible.”
Hopefully their definition of soon isn’t the same as Blizzard’s.🤞

Yea i got the same thing and never got the card and did another bbb complaint but hopefully it’s different for you

Hello Michael, I was advised the gift card was sent to ************* on August 4th. The email would be coming from corporategiftcards@giftcards.bestbuy.com. Did this email possibly go to a spam or junk folder within your Hotmail account?

If you do not see it in there around August fourth of if your spam/junk folder is already deleted emails that old, I can get our Corporate Gift Card team to resend it to that email address again. I just wanted to check first with you, if the gift card is in the spam/junk folder.

I have been checking and deleting emails one at a time watching for that email for over two months. I never received it. I never received any email after registering for the recall either so something is clearly wrong.

I don't see what the holdup is, just resend it? Why the run around?

Or better yet, text it to me. That solves the whole email thing. Are you guys trying to make it harder on everybody to collect the refund from the safety recall? It sure seems that way

Complete runaround. Truth. One story after another. Wait wait wait and wait some more. It’s a total scam. It makes no sense. I’ll believe it when I get my card. But if I don’t, I will not stop. They will not get away with this.
