Insignia Air Fryer Recall - no refund yet

To whom it may concern:

 

I returned our Insignia Air Fryer via the kit sent to us in easly May 2022 (see also

{removed per forum guidelines}).

The registration number for the return is {removed per forum guidelines}. 

 

I have yet to see any gift card or check for the $50.00.

 

Can you please check on the status of this return?

I just found my refund in the form of an e gift card in my email. I was searching to find out when I had sent it and luckily found the refund instead.  I searched my email by putting in insignia in the search.

I made a bbb complaint mine was never sent it’s was suppose to be here by yesterday as per Best Buy but nothing again probably just wanted to close out the complaint I’ll just have to make another complaint

update: after an hour of wait, I got the representative answered my call. I guess I have to wait another 2 weeks...

I would take that as an attempt to placate you.  I have not even tried to call them - after all the comments I see here, I have to assume that Best Buy will not pay at all.  I will try the BBB aproach, though.

Yea try at least someone got back to me and said 3-5 days tomorrow is the 5th business day

I returned mine and received confirmation on May 5. It was processed on June 9 and I was told I would get my refund in a few weeks. I have called five times and have been told that it is being escalated to the escalation team and no one can give me a timeframe as to when I will receive my gift card. I have spoken to several representatives and requested to speak to a manager and they will never transfer you. I have called the government website for support and they told me they would try to help me but there was only so much they could do. This is completely unfair because they have our money and they have their air fryer. And there is nothing we can do. I am going to BBB to file a complaint because I don’t know where else to turn. How they can continue to tell me that it has been escalated but they are unable to provide a date of when I will receive my gift card is beyond me. I wish everyone good luck with getting your refund.
