Insignia Air Fryer Recall No Refund Since May 2022

We immediately registered for return after the recall of the product on 4/21/22. After receiving the box they sent, we dilligently sent out the air fryer. After about a month after confirming that they have received the item we called them to see whats going on because we haven’t received a refund. They said they will be emailing us a Best Buy gift card with the amount corresponding to the price of the air fryer. To make the long story short we havn’t received the refund they always tell us that they will send it after 7 business days via email everytime we call and it’s been almost a year since we registered for the recall! I talked to supervisors everytime and still nothing! In fact I just got off the phone with them and what Best Buy is saying now all of a sudden is that they already sent the gift card out last June and that we don’t know how to look for it in my email. I mean if it was sent out in June why tell me in January? Why didn’t you tell me earlier when I’ve been calling every month since May? I’ve been looking through my email and even spam mail since the return was made and no Best Buy email with a gift card was ever received! Filed a complain with the BBB this is business malpractice seeing all the people here with the same situation as I am.
