I returned the recalled Insignia Air Fryer on June 9, 2022 via UPS. I called the Best Buy number given and it was confirmed that it was received, but I have not received the electronic gift card as of August 17, 2022. I will definitely think twice before buying a Best Buy brand. This is the worst recall experience I have ever had! Why are some getting their electronic gift cards and others are not!!

My experience has been the same. I responded to the recall and sent my air fryer to Best Buy in June and have not received the gift card. The runaround is unreal!
The “reply to messages” are a pacifier because they ask us to call the phone number/customer service, but the phone number/customer service tells us that they will escalate, but I’ve read on the forum per Best Buy’s Specialists that escalation doesn’t exist. I’ve never seen a recall handled this way.
The frustration is not from the waiting, but the runaround. If the gift cards won’t be sent out until 2023, just let us know that.

Thanks for reaching back out. I completely understand how frustrating it is to wait on this recall gift card. The information we had at the time was to tell customers inquiring about the gift cards to call the Recall Hotline. Currently an escalation process is being created to get folks their gift cards. Can you please private message me with your name, phone number, email, and physical address so that I can submit your information to that escalation team?
