Absolutely disgusted with the handling of this recall process & the customer service. I registered for my recall on April 21, 2022. I received my return box & immedietely returned the airfryer & confimred that it was received back on May 20, 2022. I have yet to receive my gift card. I have been combing through my email daily & my spam box searching with a fine tooth comb to make sure I didnt accidentally delete it & there is NOTHING!! I have a friend who returned hers after me & has already gotten her gift card weeks ago.
I called the 800-566-7498 3 times. Once in June to confirm they received my return & was told 3-6 weeks for the gift card. Again 2 weeks ago & was told I had to wait a lil longer, at which point we are already at 6 weeks since May 20th. I called back today, July 20th, now we are officaly at 2 months since they received my return & I was told that they need to escalate my case to the "escalation department" and that they can NOT tell me when I will be contacted by said escalation dept or how long it takes for the escalation department to research my situation NOR do they have a phone number for the "escalation dept".
This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!! If this is how Best BUy handles their recalls for products they are supposed to guarantee then I will never but another appliance from them again. Customers should not have to jump through hoops to get their refund for an item Best Buy recalled, it should have been automatic once they confirmed the item was legitimiately purchased & returend by the customer!! I sent back all paperwork from the purchase I made & here I sit waiting for my money back from Best Buy.

Not being able to give me a time frame for that to happen is not reassuring!! Nor the fact that there is no phone number to contact them if they dont contact us in a timely manner.
I bought your product with my hard earned money & it turned out to be defective, you guys need to step up your customer service process to get your custmers their refund.

Well the help provided so far has been useless .. untill I have my money back in my hand I will not be satisified & I will make sure to blast this all over socal media & anywhere else I can spread awreness if I dont get my refund.

Keep in mind that its not a refund, it a Best Buy Gift Card. You should receive that gift card, may take longer than normal wait time.

I know it is a gift card - it's still a refund of my payment in a different manner, I dont need corrected on that .. bottom line your process said 3-6 weeks & it's been 8 weeks & you guys have no resolution for me. Also I see other posts on here about people not gettng their gift cards as well so it is obviously an issue you guys are having, so maybe you wanna step up your game on the customer service skills??
