I purchased the Sony 900h last August, it does not work as advertised. I want to exchange.

Is this possible? Sony promised several features would be coming in an update, and that update has since been cancelled. I bought the TV for those features. On top of that, the tv has several software and hardware issues, like blurry text, that affect all units.

Because of this, I want to exchange it and pay the difference for an LG CX. Is this something that is possible? We were lied to by Sony and exercising the extended warranty we purchased would just give a new 900h with the exact same issues.

The return policy is between 15-45 days. Last august would far excede that. A return would not be possible.

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Best Buy Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your TV is not working as expected, I can certainly imagine the disappointment there.

 

As nckhammond mentioned, our Return & Exchange Promise for most customers for most purchases is 15 days, so it is not likely a return or exchange will be possible at this time. You may reach out to Sony directly to see if they are able to provide any updates or support with this model.
