Hi, I found out the price of my phone went down $100 and contacted chat support. They told me "great news" we can make the the price match for you. I assumed all was taken care of at that time. After two weeks, I checked back with chat support to check on the credit and they said they made an error and mobile price matches can't be done through chat and I would need to go into a store to get it resolved. I went into the store and they said they couldn't help but to call 1-888-BESTBUY. I called that number and they said they couldn't help me as well. The said to go to the store to get this resolved.(Already tried this) So, I have been given a complete runaround with this situation and would like to find a way to resolve it. Please contact me to get this resolved.

I'm sorry that you've had a difficult time finding answers in regards to your Price Match request. I'm sure it is frustrating to feel like you're being shuffled around.
Can you tell me a little bit more about the phone that you purchased? Was it a pay-as-you-go phone, a phone that was activated on a payment plan through a carrier contract, or an unactivated phone that was paid outright?

Thanks for sharing that additional information. Here's what our FAQ has to say when it comes to price changes within the return and exchange period for carrier contract phones:
"How does your price match policy apply to a mobile phone purchased with an installment billing plan?
If you have purchased a mobile phone on an installment billing plan from Best Buy and we lower our installment billing price during the 14-day return and exchange window, you have some options. You may bring your phone to a Best Buy store and we will research the pricing history on your purchased phone to see if you qualify for a price match. If you qualify, you have two options for a price match. The first option is to receive a Best Buy gift card for the difference between the overall installment billing price you agreed to pay for the phone and the current installment billing price on the phone. For example, if your installment billing plan calls for you to pay a total of $600 and the phone is now available for $500, we will provide you with a $100 Best Buy gift card. The second option is that you may return your purchased phone along with the contract and purchase a new phone with a new contract at the discounted price. Please note that a return, even with a repurchase, requires the deletion of all data on the phone, and you are responsible for all fees associated with a return. When calculating the original purchase price of the phone, all offers, including two-for-one and gift card offers, are taken into account. There is a limit of one price match per phone."
