Horrible Best Buy credit card service from Citibank

I have just closed my Citibank managed Best Buy credit card account and am unlikely to buy from Best Buy in the future because of my experience. Citibank repeatedly ignored my requests to put my account on autopay, requests made both on their website and to customer service agents. This led to cascading late fees and interest charges because I falsely assumed the balance was being paid when due. After I spent a lot of time complaining they removed some of the charges but not all: I spent about $50 more in charges and fees on a single $425 purchase. It did not escape my notice that Citibank's customer service "incompetence" (let's call it that) earned them an additional $50 in profit. This is a warning to all against any dealings with Citibank, and with merchants who make the mistake of letting Citibank be their customer service face.
