Fraud on my mastercard

I got a deduction today on my mastercard for a purchase from bestbuy that was sent at 6.55pm (GMT+4). The value was 6570.01 AED. I did not purchase anything from bestbuy so this was a fraud. I contacted my bank and they blocked the card and filed a compliant. Meanwhile, they asked me to contact bestbuy to report and ask you to stop the order. I tried to find an email address that i can use , but I couldn't find any email. Can you please share with me an email address i can use? Or let me know what shall I do next to make sure this transaction is reversed.

The correct method of contact would be 1-888-BestBuy.  This transaction is likely too far along to cancel, but it is possible they may be able to stop it from being delivered and return it to our warehouse.

To me happened the same yesteray night thing (I blocked the card immediately and claimed the transaction, so I will not loose money). I tried to call best buy US but the waiting time is more than 2 hours (I can't stay 2 hours on the phone from Dubai to US), I tried to chat, but there are no operators availabile. I tried to leverage best buy Canada but they can't do anything since the transaction in in USD.

 

I also tried to call a local police station to get support, but they told me they have nothing to do with it... I wanted to report a crime but if I don't talk with BestBuy I can't have information on where it happened!!

 

Is there an e-mail address? I want to contact them quickly to stop the item to be shipped!

I also tried to call bestbuy but waiting time was 50minutes and after holding for 15minutes, line got disconnected. Is there another phone number that can be used?

I tried the 1800bestbuy and 1888bestbuy... no success at all.

 

No way also to find a mail...

This website is handled by the same team that used to handle the deprecated email system, this forum is the replacement. As I stated before the 1-888-BestBuy number IS the correct path to reach someone the quickest. The forum moderators will likely reach your post and reply after several days due to the expanded traffic here.

To be honest, this was all posted yesterday. If the 1-888 team wasn’t notified, this item is for sure unable to be canceled at this point. Your phone call would potentially allow them to have it intercepted and sent back, but even that’s not 100%.

With that said, the unauthorized orders topic at the top of the forum provides Best Buy’s Official Process on the matter.

Very good, but:

 

1) How can I notify if I can't reach them? No chat operator available, no way to contact them on the phone, no best buy shop that answer (I tried 3 or 4 in LA, New York and Texas).

 

2) The article you linked is only in case of someone HAVING a BestBuy account. What if I DON'T have it and someone used my credit card on someone else (guessing fake) account?

1) call 1-888-BestBuy, any other method will be too slow to be proactive. It’s already been a day, so there may not be anything that calling can do at this point anyway.

2) leave out the bits on securing your Best Buy account, you don’t have one. Follow every other step in that topic as it explains what to do.

CHAT: "We're sorry, all of our Agents are currently busy. Please try again later."

 

How can I talk to them if they are not reachable???

Same issue also. Was on the phone on an international call again for more than 30minutes and no one is picking up. Is there any other option for a phone call back? I tried to use this option on another call with call center, but my international number is not accepted for a call back!!
