Purchased TCL 65R625 after Christmas for 799. Recently visited the store to get the price match for lowering the price of the TV to 699, great.
Asked the very polite associate about some kind of promo code also, I had read it on a blog somewhere but could not remember exactly. She said she had no knowledge of the code and another 15% savings.
I spoke with the manager of the store in Pensacola where I purchased the TV, he stated no such thing ever existed. He stated that he has never heard of anything called CNET and Best Buy does not honor thier coupons nor does Best Buy have "Promo codes".
CNET in his words is not a trusted site in the Best Buy community.
I explained it is an online magazine/newsoutlet for everything electronic. Again he insisted that he never heard of CNET and that there was nothing on the BB website about additional savings. Actually it is on the entry page to the BB website and on the TV page and on the TCL page and so on.
I am one day out of the price match for the TV and the extra 15% match. I am feeling kind of left out especially I applied for the price match and was not given the match to the new price of the TV.
I am also saying I don't beleive that a store manager for one of the countries largest retailer of electronic devices, appliances, auto and portable devices has never heard of CNET. I'm just not buying it.

Welcome to the Support Forums!
Congrats on your new TV purchase and I hope that you're liking it so far. We always want you to be able to get the items you love at the price you want, and I'd be wondering about something like this too if I were you. While nothing is coming to my head when you mention this coupon code, I'm happy to investigate further for you. Can you let me know which TLC television you'd purchased?
